Team GYGO are at it again. Another 24 hour gaming marathon! This time we are aiming to raise funds for the National Autistic Society to help support individuals of all ages who fall into the autism spectrum. 

At GYGO, we get a lot of customers who are autistic, each with their own unique character. Every one of those customers, as well as all of the others we get, are special to us and we take the time to get to know them. Some come and game, others come and talk to us about games, some even challenge us to a game of pool (sometimes we let them win 😉). The best part about the gaming community, is that it doesn't matter if you are quiet or loud, autistic or not, if you can game then you are a gamer. There are no prejudices which is fantastic. 

Autism is massively under funded. There are people who go through their entire childhood and a few years of adulthood without a proper diagnosis, this can have a profound effect on relationships both at home and work, or home and school for the younger people. Being able to have access to advice and support is a life saver and many families need that support, so let's help to ensure that someone who needs assistance gets it. At GYGO you aren't just a customer number, you're part of the family and regardless of your background, we're here for you rain or shine!
