2021 will be a big year for James and Krista as they tie the knot and take on a series of incredible endurance challenges!

£10,000 is a daunting target, so they've come up with a number of physical and community-based challenges to help raise the money, culminating in their honeymoon adventure "Glacier to Glacier". More on that later. 

Before this, in May, James has committed to 'conquering' the Cotswold Way solo ... in one go! Despite already having run 100 miles along the Thames last year, the Cotswolds Way presents an entirely different challenge; it's longer (102 miles) and hillier (over 4,000m of elevation).

Then, in late July, he'll take on the Kennet and Avon Canal Challenge, a brutal race from London all the way to Bristol, covering a whopping 145 miles along some of the UK's most iconic waterways.

In the meantime, and in between training sessions, James and Krista are planning on helping out the local community in various ways - baking cakes, offering to do people's shopping, painting on commission and even offering pro bono legal advice!

And then. The Big One. James and Krista will round off the year by taking on Rat Race's 'Glacier to Glacier' expedition. On this epic but gruelling journey they'll travel 360km between two of the world's most famous glaciers, running, cycling and kayaking through the Los Glaciares National Park in Patagonia (Argentina), over six days.

Children with Cancer UK actively raises and invests money for vital specialist research to save the lives of every child with cancer and keep their family together. The charity's vision is a world where every child diagnosed with cancer gets to ring their end of cancer treatment bell.
