Story

I am a passionate runner and educator. Treloar's values of indepenence training for success in adult life aligns very well with my own belief in helping others to build confidence and skill in all endeavours. I believe in the transformative and therapeutic power of education.

Treloars is one of the UKs largest specialist centres for young disabled people to live and learn and so much more than just a school and college. They are a charity committed to a world where young disabled people can take control of their lives and reach their full potential. Right now, highly specialist staff are delivering outstanding nursing care, therapy, independence training and education to around 180 children and young people aged 2-25 with highly complex disabilities from all across the UK and overseas. But they cant do this alone. They must raise £2million every year to sustain and develop expert services to support their students in classrooms and those who live in their residential houses during term-time and up to 52 weeks a year.
