Me and my friends, Rebekah and Daniel are running Cardiff Half Marathon in memory of my sister Angharad who passed away from cancer. She was a wonderful person who touched so many lives and we want to honour her by raising money for Maggie’s, a charity that helped her and my family through such a difficult time. 

Cancer is a terrible disease that affects millions of people each year. We are raising money for Maggie's, which offers a warm, supportive and welcoming space for anyone affected by cancer. Maggie’s has a few centres across the UK, but we would like to give a special thanks to the employees at the Swansea Centre for all their support.

It has been devastating to experience this loss but for my family, the support that Maggie’s has provided has been overwhelming in the best way possible and it would mean the world to know that they can continue to provide their support for others. By donating, you will be helping Maggie’s to continue to provide support and care for those who are currently battling with this disease. 

We are honoured to be running in memory of Angharad and hope that you will join us in supporting this important cause. Together we can make a real difference.
