Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I am looking for your help folks if at all possible please as I have been asked to raise £1000 between now and 1st November this year in aid of the Neurofibromatosis Association.  Why this charity - simply that my friends son suffers from the condition for which there is as yet no cure.

In return I have committed to running the Great North Run (half marathon) on 20th September and then six weeks later on 1st November I will be running in the New York Marathon.  This will be my first marathon and whilst the prospect is a little daunting, I have taken the view  we are only here once so why the hell not!  The charity have also placed great trust in me to reach £1000 total as they have given me their one and only place for the marathon.

I shall also be running in memory of an old school friend from the North East Jill Rowe who died suddenly aged 40 earlier this year.  Jill loved life and thankfully her legacy will live on through her two young children.
