Beards for Bucks is a fundraiser where we in law enforcement are allowed to grow facial hair for the month of October to support my local Child Advocacy Center (CAC). These facilities depend on the generosity of the community donations to support my Razorless for a Reason cause. The children served at a CAC- Child abuse and child victims- require a coordinated victim centered response from expert professionals to reduce stress throughout the investigation and intervention process. Child Advocacy Centers work in partnership with all the necessary agencies and specialists to coordinate a plan of action to provide high-quality, specialized services for abused children and their families to heal, survive and thrive.
