Getting old in the UK can be hard at the best of times. You are likely to live with multiple conditions, support from the state is difficult to negotiate, and later life can be expensive. Covid-19 has made this situation a whole lot worse. Age UK Bexley staff and volunteers are despite the conditions working hard to ensure advice, support and services are still guaranteed to older people in Bexley. But with the charity working with 50% less revenues than normal public support is vital to the charity meeting its £46,000 a month costs.
