On the 8th October, Team "Claire Newman" are taking part in Royal Parks Half Marathon 2023

My sister-in-law, Claire, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer late 2021 and sadly passed away last December leaving behind my brother, Robin, and their three children (aged 16 and twins aged 8). 

Following a chat with my brother, and after mentioning the idea to a few friends, before we knew it, "Team Claire Newman" became 15 people running in her memory with the aim to raise lots of money for Pancreatic Cancer UK. 

It's unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer die within three months. Survival rates have improved enormously for most cancers, yet for pancreatic cancer, this is not the case. Sadly, nothing will change the past, but we can help to change the future by supporting the amazing research Pancreatic Cancer UK does.
