Story
In just over a month I hope to be taking in the breathtaking view atop Africa's highest summit. Standing at 5,892m, Sam and I intend to reach the Uhuru peak by 2nd December. As you may already be aware, my intention is to raise money for the charity Build Africa by various means throughout my gap year. With a target of £30,000 the money I will be raising will be going specifically to Kavete School in Kenya.
Despite having to accommodate over 200 pupils and 8 teachers the classrooms at Kavete are in a terrible condition. So much so that they have even been condemned by Kenyan Ministry of Health officials.
Our main aim is to fund the building of a new classroom block, however, much of the money raised will also be dedicated to science supplies and desks, community work and teacher training programs.
I really appreciate the time you've given to check this out and I'd be even more grateful if you could help by donating. As you all know every little helps so please just give anything you can.
To climb Kilimanjaro knowing I have all your support will make it all that much better.
THANK YOU!
