I'm running the Great Manchester 10k for #TeamStroke! It's a cause close to my heart and something I want to do to remember someone great that we lost in the last year and do them proud and help others that have suffered strokes in the UK. 

There are over 1.3 million stroke survivors in the UK, with 100,000 strokes happening in the UK each year. That's one stroke every five minutes. The Stroke Association believes everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke. Your support will help them to provide vital services, campaign for better stroke care and fund research into preventative and rehabilitative treatments.
