Hi,

Thanks for supporting Help for Heroes, I've had a great 40 years of which 12 were in the Royal Air Force as you know.  Flying Search and Rescue was great fun and hugely rewarding.  People referred to us as heroes, but in my eyes our armed forces of today, who are serving in Iraq and Afghanistan are true heroes.
