Having a go at the Liverpool Triathlon this year and in the process raising money for the Alzeimers Society. Whilst this is Santander's charity of the year, it is also a charity that is important to me, after my grandfather died of Alzeimer's when he was still quite young. He was a lovely man who taught me alot about how to live your life so so this ones for him. 

For those that don't know a Triathlon consists of 3 stages

Swim: 1500 metres in Liverpool docks (with jelly fish and mirky salt water - particularly bad as I leave my mouth open when I swim).

Cycle: 40K around the streets of Liverpool 

Run: 10K run - ordinarily not too bad for me but absolute pergatory after the other 2 

I have been training hard so hopefully I will be OK.
