We provide a home, schooling and healthcare to Kolkata's street and slum children

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My old school chum Tim Grandage founded Future Hope for homeless kids in Calcutta some 30 years ago, giving up a splendid banking job in the process. The street children are looked after in residences, are helped through school, given health care, and even go on to universities etc. It is a very holistic approach that works with later generations of alumni helping the younger ones. Tim and his wife Erica, also with their own children now, are totally dedicated to this. I climbed mountains in Wales and Scotland with Tim, slept under three-tonne trucks and in drenched tents and caves as we went through school together, and this is a great way to celebrate my 60th in June... so thanks for all your support.
