Powerchair Football Tournament - Treloar College
“Treloar Tigers” is the brainchild from a group of like-minded disabled students from Treloar College, who wanted the opportunity to play football and compete like all other young adults. The team was recently registered with both Hampshire FA and the Wheelchair Football Association (WFA). It currently has 18 students training and is open to other players in the local area.
The Osborne Trophy, will be the first ever football Tournament to be held at the College and will be the launch pad for the team and any other Treloars students who wish to play Powerchair football in the future, both recreationally and up to National level.
The tournament is scheduled for Feb 2011 and will consist of 4 College's seeing 32 footballers take part.
To start - I am running the Great South Run - a 10 mile run to help raise money. Without your help and donation this tournament would not be possible.
By reading I hope you find it in yourself to donate.
