Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

For the past few years GUWRFC have taken part in challenging events in order to raise money for charities that will benefit from our help. This year the Badgers will complete an indoor sprint triathlon which consists of a 750m swim (0.5miles), 20km cycle (12.4 miles) and a 5km run (3.1miles)- very different to the kind of sport we usually play!

The money raised from our event will go towards the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation- a charitable foundation set up by the famous Scottish rugby player Doddie Weir. The foundation raises money for Motor Neurons Disease (MND) to aid research to find a cure for this life limiting disease, as well as making life more comfortable for those who currently suffer.

Every little helps and every donation would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your support, Glasgow University Women's Rugby Football Club (GUWRFC).
