Derek, Lucy and I have signed ourselves up for The Kiltwalk Mighty Stride on 30th April 2023 (23 miles). In May 2020 our Dad and Lucy's Papa, Gus, passed away due to an incurable cancer. It is known with total certainty Mesothelioma is caused from exposure to asbestos. It is a horrible disease that can lie dormant for many years but once it takes hold it is merciless and rapid in its effects with few victims living longer than a few months beyond first diagnosis.
