Story
Thank you all for visiting my page.
On Sunday June 20th 2010 I’ll be facing a challenge as I gear up to participate in my first ever sprint triathlon. Hopefully after 2 months of strenuous training I’ll be able to complete the distances of a 200m swim followed by a 17km bike ride to finish off with a 5km run.
The hard work will all be worthwhile as I aim to raise £1000 for Macmillan Cancer Support. As some of you may know, on January 30th this year my beautiful sister-in-law lost her battle against cancer at the young age of 28. She was a bright, confident woman who lived each day to the fullest. Her positive outlook on life was one to be learnt from and remembered. The Macmillan Cancer support helped our family through the last tough few days before and after her passing.
Your donations would be greatly appreciated as the money will help to support the excellent work Macmillan do in supporting patients, carers and families affected by cancer.
Thanks again for all your support and best wishes.
