I will be attempting this challenge for my amazing wife - Ruby.

She has a genetic condition called retinitis pigmentosa. It means that her eyesight and hearing is affected, but you’d never know it! She’s achieved so much in her life, she’s given us 2 amazing children and is just going from strength to strength.

Currently, genetic engineering is the only way forward to treat this disease, there are many breakthroughs being made, but everything needs funding and the more money is raised the more chance there will be a treatment.

I will be doing the 10 for 10 on Saturday 28th November from Herne Bay pier to Reculver Towers, and back again!
