This year I have decided to run the half marathon in Palestine, raising funds for a cause which is dear to my heart. Jamia al Karam, has been serving the Muslim community in the UK since 1985, helping change lives of entire families, bringing the best out in people, helping Students reach their potential. One single graduate can go along way to help educate his or her community. 

I can't think of a better place to run a half marathon, raising awareness of the plight of ordinary Palestinians who suffer hardships everyday of their lives, but continue as best they can. 

As hard and challenging as this is likely to be, I want to do it! It is well outside my comfort zone, I have had operations on my knee, and I find it difficult to run, but I have a couple of months to whip myself in to shape. My challenge, though, pales in comparison to the challenges that the brave ordinary Palestinians face everyday. 

So please help me achieve my target, and go ahead and make a donation, even if it is only to humour me to see if such a feat is even possible!!!
