Story
Did you know that the Cave Rescue Organisation saves lives above as well as below ground? They attend more than 60 incidents every year, undertaking rescues in some of the most challenging conditions. You can find out more about their work here: https://cro.org.uk/what-we-do/. See also the CRO links further down this page.
2019 will be the fiftieth anniversary of the death of Guin's father, Duncan Glasfurd. He was a member of the CRO in Clapham and was killed while caving in Ease Gill, Ingleborough. He loved caving and was part of a team of cavers who explored the complex cave systems, known as the Three Counties Systems: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three_Counties_System
Christina and I are raising money in his memory, and all money will go to support CRO's vital work. Thanks.
