On September 11th, I will be travelling down to Land's End to start on my exciting challenge, cycling the length of Britain, 1000 miles in 10 days!

We have personally experienced the care from St Luke's, the nurses are very warm and understanding and they go out of their way to make things as good as they can be for the patient, family and friends. The counselling, care and support for family and friends has been a great help to so many.

I am dedicating this ride to so many family and friends for whom I have sincere respect and have been an inspiration to me.

I will be raising money for St Luke's Hospice (Basildon and Thurrock) and Cancer Research UK, both charities have made a difference in our live's through their continued hard work.
