Hello all!  Welcome to our JustGiving page. Thank you for taking the time to visit and read our story.

In a little under 10 weeks from now, we will be taking part in The Great South Run, a 10 mile run around the docklands of Portsmouth, in order to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

This is a cause close to our hearts. Last year, Sean’s Dad, John, was struck with an aggressive cancer that attacked his bones, liver and brain.  Within weeks he was admitted to the Macmillan Unit in Christchurch, where the nurses not only cared for John, but offered the whole family an enormous amount of kindness and support.

The event is taking place on the 28th October 2012, a particularly poignant date for us, as it marks the one year anniversary of John’s funeral.

Running as part of Team Macmillan will not only be a tribute to John, but our way of saying thank you to all the nurses who looked after us all.

So please please, dig deep, and donate what you can so others can continue to receive support from this fantastic charity.
