Story
In 2014, I went to Zimbabwe with my family to visit our sponsor child, and to see with my own eyes the tremendous impact our visit and support had on the community was overwhelming and rewarding. Since then I have been determined to drive more change if I can. The possibility to do something good and meaningful for children and for myself at the same time was a very strong motivation for me to apply for this challenge.
I am now 1 of 40 trekkers that will be trekking over 100km in the highlands of Northern Vietnam to raise money for Save the Children.
Together we are tasked with raising £180,000 to support mothers and their new-born babies in Vietnam and in many other countries.
I will be travelling with GSK colleagues from 24 countries, coming together for this common goal. At the end of the trek we will see the work first hand that Save the Children supports in Vietnam and visit one of the communities that will benefit from these funds. My personal commitment is to raise £4,500 and every penny raised will be matched by GSK.
My challenge starts now through training and fundraising,
Thank you so much for your support❤️
