We are creating a world without limits to support people affected by epilepsy.

Story

Every year G.S Fitness Running Group host events for different charities and some times we like to take on crazy events while doing so!

We always try to pick charities that are close to home making them close to our hearts. Having raised £5000 for Tommys and £2500 for MS with a big chunk of that going to our Local group helping a local lady with a brand new power folding wheel chair. This year we have chosen Epilepsy Action because one of our runners Liam Cross Suffers with Epilepsy. Epilepsy can be life changing and threatening in some cases, we want to raise awareness for this as I personally and as a group do not think most realise the seriousness of this illness. We have two big events confirmed this year one on Saturday 31st August 2019 our big Family Festival at the Swan Rayne 1pm-7pm. Our Annual quiz night on Saturday 9th November! At the village hall rayne. Please come along and support our wonderful team who continue to work hard and train hard for these charity’s and events all year round.

Epilepsy Action is creating a world without limits for everyone affected by epilepsy, connecting people with others, and providing support and information you can trust. We’re calling out the misunderstanding, prejudice and barriers that stop people with epilepsy living their best life.
