Girl Scouts - North Carolina Coastal Pines (Girl Scouts - NCCP) offers countless events throughout the year to deepen Girl Scouts' experiences and expand their learning. From specialized Life Skills training like babysitting and CPR/First Aid classes to big, all-day STEM events like TechnoQuest, there's a chance for every Girl Scout to ignite her passion and learn new skills. But, as one volunteer noted:

"Events can be pricy when well done. Funding makes them more accessible to girls across all socio-economic classes."

As with everything we do, Girl Scouts - NCCP strives to keep activity costs accessible for all girls. To do that, we need help from donors like you.

Last year's best-attended council event was World Thinking Day. Over 300 girls came together virtually to learn about peacebuilding and how they can be peace leaders. Our volunteers tell us that older girls typically prefer participating in Girl Scouts through events. We hope to raise $1500 this holiday season to provide and ship World Thinking Day supplies to older girls in 2022 to give them an unforgettable virtual event experience.
