Story
Like you, I too know of someone who has died or suffered from Palliative illness. Pain experienced is not just physical, it is psychological, emotional and spiritual; family and friends suffer, alongside the individual.
That is why I am fundraising to support the excellent work that our local Hospice provides and I am asking you for your help. St Barnabas Hospice relies on charitable funding to continue to maintain it’s services, which one day may help support you, your family and friends care needs and they need our help.
St Barnabas Hospice offers bereavement counselling services for any kind of loss, a welfare team for support with financial care needs, an inpatient care unit, occupational and physiotherapy therapies and treatments; enabling people to keep as well as possible for as long as possible. The Hospice has 6 day centres, working as an expert in the field in Lincolnshire for all palliative care needs. Additionally it runs the palliative care co-ordination line, so no one is missed, care is coordinated in one place for seamless delivery.
St Barnabas Hospice is a charity, A charity that I believe I need to support for the people of Lincolnshire, to continue to receive the outstanding care they rightfully deserve.
Please help me reach my target of £350.00 as I run The Great North Run 2021 for our friends, neighbours and loved ones. Together we can all make a difference and ensure we financially provide the funding this charity requires.
