My wife and I cared for my Mother at our shared home and witnessed over 3 years a gradual decline in her health and well being as a result of Alzheimer's. Participating in this challenge will be extremely tough. My sensitive coccyx will need managing with a increased dose of pain killers on a daily basis as the roads are very rough and the seats very hard! 

We are all living longer, and Alzheimers debilitating effects will effect more and more of us until a cure is found. The funds raised will help more research to be made which will hopefully avoid others going through the same suffering my Mother went through.
