Could you cycle 250 Kilometres in August and help to raise funds for children with life-limiting conditions and their families?

Story

This month, for the entire month of August, Team Grenke - Eoin Christian, Justin Twiddy, Laura Brennan, Donal Galvin, David Kelly, Anna Wojciechowska, Michalina Milek, Martin Rogers, Jonathan Whelan, Jonathan Dowdall, Kamila Opolska, Emma Broderick, Yvonne Coleman, Rachel Kavanagh, Laura Neary and Mark Schutte will each cycle 250km whilst trying to raise funds for LauraLynn Children's Hospice. LauraLynn Children's Hospice, based in Dublin provides palliative care to children with life-limiting conditions and their families. Like all charities at the moment LauraLynn is facing many challenges due to Covid19. Naturally fundraising events have been cancelled and yet they still must raise 4.6 million to ensure their services can continue. LauraLynn is on the frontline of this crisis providing end of life care and crisis care to families affected by Covid19. They are connecting with families helping them to make moments that matter at home, providing Music Therapy, Counselling, Bereavement support and play activities through Skype while also conducting regular Wellness Check In Calls to make sure thjeir families do not feel alone in any of this. Any support you can provide is much appreciated!

About the charity

LauraLynn Ireland’s only Children’s Hospice, provides palliative care to children with life-limiting conditions and their families. We provide support from diagnosis, to end of life, and throughout bereavement with a range of practical, emotional and medical care for the whole family.
