2020 has hit us all hard with the pandemic. I was shopping in the local supermarket recently and realised around this time of the year, you can usually pick up a poppy anywhere. This year I have seen one poppy collection and was deeply saddened to think those who fort for us will have that little less without the kind donations to the British legion this year. 

We have decided to do our all to try raise funds for the royal British legion which supports those who fort for our freedom  we thought the COVID 19 was an impact, at least we have the technology to keep on top of the updates these days. We remember those who was signed up without a choice but to fight for our freedom and the country. We are having a 1940’s fancy dress day on 11/11/2020 in remembrance of those who went to the front line and made today possible but for those who sadly never made it back and to their families. Grenham bay are forever grateful to the veterans who served for us past and present.
