Story
So, why am I putting my old joints through this? We were devastated to lose my dad at such a relatively early age (65) and have lost family and friends to cancer over the years.
We also know others who are now cancer-free and some who are currently going through the same treatment. I'm doing this for all of them and the millions of others in the UK. Macmillan was there for my dad and mum when they were needed and I want to thank them for their support.
In July 2025, I have challenged myself to take on the Jurassic Coast Mighty Hike to help raise money for people living with cancer. Helping me reach my £250 pledge can pay for Macmillan Nurse for one day. This could provide people living with cancer and their families essential medical, practical and emotional support. Three million people live with cancer in the UK today & it's Macmillan's goal to be there for everyone from the moment of diagnosis, but they can't do this without donations from people like you.
I greatly appreciate your support, as does Macmillan.
Thank you!
