Hi Guys and Girls... thankyou and well done for taking the first step into making a difference to someone elses life!. I am about to embark on the reportadly toughest assault course known to man. 13miles of running combined with 28 military obstacles from fire to ice cold water to being electricuted and the possibility of drowning and not to forget the mandatory broken legs, twisted ankles etc........ essentially all the extremes of stupidity thrown into one afternoon!. I am not alone in thsi challenge, My girlfriend Kerry Beacom will be there dragging me along but more importantly Ben Clarke will be there with me as he is with all of us now watching over you making sure you hit that donate button (small guilt trip).... 

I was proud to be so close to Ben especially over the past few years watching go through operatrion after operation, one treatment after another, and then on to the clinical trials.. if it wasnt one thing it was another but he still stood tall and got on with his life despite all of the challenges he had thrown at him. from retraining as a gas engineer to still maintaining his fitness combined with his very famous social life he carried on fighting until the bitter end and for some of the valuable life lessons he taught me I will be eternally greatful. I know he meant a lot to so many people and touched so many lives with his cheeky smile and some times innapropriate banter but that is why we all loved him so much!...
