Story
In May 2019 I was diagnosed with a benign brain tumour... Not knowing how to deal with this diagnosis I googled brain tumours and The Brain Tumour Charity was there to help with lots of information about the type of tumour I have, as well as support available, which has really helped me and also to not feel alone.
It’s all a bit up in the air what’s going to happen (a recent scan has shown that it has grown) but I want to give something back to The Brain Tumour Society so that they can continue to help people who need their support.
My aim is to run the Manchester marathon in October 2021 despite finding running more than 5k hard work these days! To still be able to run a marathon would be a great achievement and it would be good to raise some money at the same time.
Thanks to everyone who can support this worthwhile cause. :-)
