Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
As a hospital pharmacist, one of the things I do each working day is to visit our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit where I help care for the babies by checking doses and prescriptions, supplying medicines, monitoring drug therapy, giving advice about medicines, ordering parenteral nutrition and teaching nursing staff about drug handling in babies.
The Queen Elizabeth Hospital Trust is appealing for funds to expand the unit and I am pleased to support them in this by running in the Great East Anglia Run (10 km) on Sunday 3rd May. I'm not a natural athlete (although I do a fair bit of cycling) but I'm in training now and I'm confident that I'll get round the course, albeit not in record time.
Please sponsor me if you can. Any support on the day will be welcome as well. You can find out how I do afterwards by looking on the race website: www.greateastangliarun.co.uk. I am entrant no.629 and by using this number you should be able to check my time and search for any photographs taken as I go round the course.
Giving through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Queen Elizabeth Hospital Kings Lynn NHS Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
