On Friday 15th May Team PS (That's me and a few Partners with Positive Solutions) completed the 10k race in Dubai in blistering heat and all in aid of Cancer Research UK.   Much to my surprise Stewart Cunningham won first place in the 55+ age group.  I would like to thank Rosemary Hunter, Gavin Tank, Stephen Jennings, Keith Penny, Stewart Cunningham, Martin Pryor, Marc Perry, Tom Whitting and Ian Russell for their support.  For me I planned a sub 60 minutes and took just over, although I did do a Paula Radcliffe on route, but hasten to add I did locate the proper facilities and added a further half kilometer to my distance in doing so .

A BIG thank you to Mark Bulley and the Positive Solutions Golf Team in Dubai who raised 1675 Dirhams (roughly £335) for the cause .

On Sunday 17th May I took part in the BUPA 10k in Manchester with a personal best of 51.55 minutes.    Team BUPA 10k was done with friends Paul Donegan  John Edmundson  David Feeney  and Stephen Bowen .    Now it is down to many weeks of training with a couple of half marathons along the way prior to the hope of a BIG one in New York on November 1st.
