Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  I am part of a team that are rowing and kayaking from Tower Bridge to Kingston Bridge on the 26th June, approx. 21 miles in total.

This is not just for the sheer fun of it but to raise awareness and funding for the All Saints church appeal.  In short, this is a project to refurbish and restore key parts of the church and to develop a new community centre within the church site boundary improving the facilities and services avilable and helping increase engagement with the wider community .  You can see more information on the project by visiting: http://www.askingston.co.uk/index.html

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.

Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Many thanks for visiting my page and for any donations!

About the charity

We aim to restore the historic church of All Saints to its rightful place as the heart and soul of Kingston upon Thames. The church was the site of the coronation of seven Saxon Kings, and also of the Great Council in 823 AD which first established the links between Church and State which are still visible in the constitution today. The proposed restoration will build on this heritage while at the same time developing the church’s role as a cultural centre and providing important community services to nurture Kingston's future.
