We support people to help rebuild lives after stroke.

Story

Firstly a massive thanks to everyone who sponsored me last year, we raised a mighty £248 for the Alzheimer's Society!

Just incase I've not seen you or passed on my best, please see the before and after pictures as proof of completion (note how tired I look in the after one - its the run that, not old age honest!). The money went off straight away, so again a big thanks to the following:

Onliners £130 - Geoff, Clare, Ann, Nick, Gizzie, Clubbs, Peart, Steph, Jon, Roberta and my Sister Caroline.

Dad's Work offline £56 - R Connolley, M Warren, A Allwood, N Knowles, B Winder, N Swarbrick, S Greaves, T Griffin, S Stringfellow (sorry couldn't read the writing, fingers crossed!?), R Fallows, G Heaps, D Webb and my Dad Robert.

Mum's Work offline £62 - Florence, Rick, Ryan, Chunky, Joyce, Louise, Margaret, Matt, H Rutherford, J Watson, G Yates, Catherine and my Mum Hazel.

This years run though is dedicated to my Dad's Mum, Grandma Pat, who suffered from a stroke and passed away a couple of years ago now. I thought I'd do my bit again and it seems the Stroke Association is well placed in this line of medical research and care, plus they've got the adverts on tv and have bases all over the country so its relatively close to home.

If you need more info or want to get in touch, please drop me an email anytime: greg.bird@gmail.com

So please dig deep and donate now. I appreciate times are hard at the moment with the credit crunch etc so please just give whatever you can. Many thanks and hopefully speak to you soon, Greg.
