Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As some of you know I ran in The Major Series event last year, if you’ve not heard of it check out the page here http://www.majorseries.com, and with your help raised a lot of money for Breast Cancer Campaign. Well yes I am mad and insane enough to do it again this year, some of you may even agree with this… however there is a BIG reason why I’m putting myself through it again, my Step-Niece Jo sadly died before Christmas at just 27 years old after being diagnosed only 3 months earlier with a rare blood disorder and as a result it left her lovely little daughter Chloe without a mum. So this time I’m hoping to raise a lot of money for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research www.beatingbloodcancers.org.uk in memory of Jo and to help the fight against blood cancers so that no other little girls are left without a mum.

It’s a grueling 10K course http://www.majorseries.com/events/south, well they say 10 we clocked it at 12 last time, with 16 challenging obstacles along the route topped off with a lot of mud and water to wade through. I will have a good mate of mine Dominic Burns doing it with me though which will help and training’s going well but it’s not going to be a “walk in the park” as you can see from their website. The venue is the stunning Eridge Park, the date is Saturday 9 March and my wave time is 09:30 so if you would like to come and see me caked in mud and cheer me on you are more than welcome.

Please donate whatever you can to this extremely worthy cause.

Thank you

Greg
