Story
People who know me know I love my beard, its become part of my identity. I am also a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt and have had the opportunity to help people from all walks of life through this.
REORG has helped veterans from all services to get into BJJ with helps with mental health as well as physical health. I have been lucky to help in a small way with this and have met some truly inspirational people along the way.
On to my plan.
I have not been clean shaven for over 10 years, and with the introduction of lockdown in the UK, I decided to leave my beard untrimmed for the duration of the lockdown. As we all now know that turned into a rather long time.
At this point I haven't trimmed my face furniture for about 6 months.
I will be returning to my regular job as a college lecturer in September and thought it would be the perfect opportunity to raise a little cash and do some good.
On September 1st I will be shaving my beard completely off. I am genuinely worried about this... one of my kids has never seen me clean shaven...
So I ask you. Please donate anything you can to get me to my £300 total. EDIT: CHANGED TO £500 because you guys and gals are awesome. Thank you
Thank you Gregg
The REORG Jiu Jitsu Foundation Charity sits under the Royal Marines Charity but supports veterans from all services at locations all across the UK. The REORG team can train all levels and all abilities.
