Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are raising funds for Ataxia UK
10,500 people in the UK have ataxia which is a progressive neurological condition that disrupts the messages sent from our brains to our muscles that are used to move, speak, listen and see. Ataxia UK funds research into finding treatments and a cure and provide support until they are found.

Greggs father is now struggling with this disease that as yet has No Cure. He has now been diagnosed, Ataxia UK have been really helpful, he will be joining Ataxia UK very soon.

We are driving in two separate vehicles this year, and all meeting up at Premiere Inn Milngavie, Scotland. Just outside of Glasgow. 1 nights rest there looking at maps and a few beers, I am sure.

We start the walk (now 12th September 2021) due to Covid-19 Outbreak in March, from Milngavie to Drymen, with our first rest at a B&B that evening in Drymen, then carry on the next day walking from Drymen to PitLochry. Approx 100 miles maybe more over 7 days... A brand New Route none of us have walked before, so sure there will be a few... No, it's that way! I am telling you, lol

Of course Larry the fox, Millie the Monkey, Will be supporting us all the way 🦊🐵😘

Once we complete the walk we have a long journey, collect our large luggage, train journey to Glasgow Central, then walk to Glasgow Queen St, then train to Milngavie, then 1.5 mile walk with all luggage to Premiere Inn to collect our vans, then drive home 🏡 We thank you all for your continued support over the years. It keeps us going, it has become addictive now raising money each year.

#alwaysalittlefurther 😘
