Story

Written on behalf of my good friend and with a truly grateful heart to him and the team that put on two fantastic shows.

All at KMAC are so thankful.

"I had the idea in my head for a couple of years about putting on a big event to raise money for cancer with the Full Monty being the main part and after seeing the TV show last March i Knew it was time.

Over the next few months this amazing event started to take shape. I had many people join and leave but eventually ended up with nine amazing ladies and nine fantastic gents who've all been brave enough to join me, share their personal cancer battles/stories and overcome many personal hurdles and issues to entertain YOU ALL with what you'll see this evening.

With many, many tears and much laughter over the last few months and rehearsals most Sundays, we between us managed to pull together what I believe to be two nights of amazing entertainment.

Cancer affects us all and unfortunately I came to know this all too well. I lost my dear father on Christmas morning last year after very sort three month battle with cancer. Its ironic that i lost my dad our photographer Sam, lost her mother, Ivan lost his grandmother and recently Craig Davis also lost his father all after we started rehearsals.

I'd like to thank each and every one of you who broth tickets to come and see see our show, you may well have saved someones life. Thank you you with all my heart for coming to see and support us.

We hope you leave the show tonight having enjoyed what we have done and hopefully with some knowledge and passion to help yourself and hopefully others simply by checking your own bodies regularly. Its very simple if YOU notice any change in your body GO AND GET IT CHECKED. Don't leave it until next week, or worse next month, get it checked out. It may save your life.

Again, thank you for all your support and please look out for our Full Monty documentary over the next few months.

Together we can say "Kiss My Ass Cancer"
