Story
Claire Bond
26th February 1975 to 16th November 2018
Written on behalf of Carl Bond and Claire's family and taken from the order of service from Claire's funeral held on 11th December 2019 at Carmountside.
Carl, Jack and Kelsie would like to thank everyone for the gestures of sympathy and acts of kindness shown to us following our sad loss.
Our Claire was the epitome of happiness. Always smiling, always giggling and laughing always up to mischief with one of her partners in crime. She was the happiest person that i have ever known.
Claire had lots of friend, she always said she could could normally get most people to like her and she was right. Claire's bestie was her maid of honour Sharon. They would spend hours everyday chatting on the way to and from work, at night. If their phones were engaged everyone knew who would be on the other ends of their phones.
Claire loved her family. Jack and Kelsie were not only our children but also best friends with Claire. Claire and Lea were so close. Claire loved her mum and dad and her in laws. Her closet cousin was Steph, so many giggles on sleepovers with Lea, Steph and Mel. Childhood holidays with Lizzie and her second Mum Joyce to places like Tenby. Auntie Claire always had fun with Neil and his family and all of her nephews and nieces.
"Life is better when you are laughing" sums up Claire's attitude. Always remember Claire with a smile on your face. Think of the joy and happiness which she brought into our lives. Claire was a rock for lots and a huge ray of sunshine bringing joy and laughter to us all. Claire lived like she drove her car 110mph and she let nothing get in her way. She was a rock and a ray of sunshine.
Today, for Claire, tell your partner how much you love them, hug your children extra tight and laugh and smile and share stories and memories of Claire. Claire's message to Lea is fitting to us all "Don't be too sad mate, life goes on" Celebrate her life and always remember her smile.
