I'm seeking to raise money for the hugely underfunded MND Scotland.

My Gran died from Motor Neurone Disease in 2012 and let me tell you it is a horrific and deadly condition.

As they struggle to search for a cure, charities like MND Scotland need as much support as possible. To that end I aim to raise an amount of money that can be donated to them as a small token of my appreciation for their efforts in trying to rid humanity of this destructive disease.

The plan is to undertake the well known Ice Bucket Challenge on a beach in Cancun, Mexico next Sunday 7th September 2014. That means we only have little over a week to raise as much money as possible for this just cause.

I appreciate that times are tough but a donation of any size would be very much appreciated.
