Story

Here at Newport News Public Schools, were dedicated to promoting positive Youth Development while building the citizen-ready leaders of tomorrow. Greenwood students and staff  have always helped with collecting canned goods for the Peninsula Food Bank. We have participated in various food drives as well as the Can Structure Competition that takes place at Patrick Henry Mall. Unfortunately, we were unable to participate in the Can Structure Competition this year due to Covid-19. This is truly a great way for us as a school community to help support our local food bank. Please help us give back to our community and reach our target goal.
