Today I recieved the sad news that my beloved Nana 'Mina had passed away. We all loved her, she brought our whole family together, was a true matriarch and her warmth could be felt for miles around. She had so much love inside that she always wanted to share it with everyone, and if she saw advertisements on the telly for people or animals in need she would speak up very loudly about how unfair it was and how she would so love to help them! She would even sometimes shed a tear, such was the strength of her love and kind heart. I am raising money for Unicef in honour of my Nana, so that I can help in some small way towards granting Nana's wish to make a difference to those in need.

I would specifically hope to raise some money to help with supporting the people of Ukraine; bearing in mind the long and arduous journey that some refuees have to take. Often the Ukranian refugees are walking for 1 whole week, threatened by many dangers; some even carrying their babies or pets with them. Seeing these poor souls carrying their much loved pets gave me the initial inspiration for 'Carrying Kiwi for Ukraine'. 

I will be carrying my dog Kiwi with me on all of my walks for 1 whole week in an effort to raise money for those in need. You can watch our journey unfold on social media by following my Green Dog Training page and please do donate anything that you can via my JustGiving page.
