Event: Great North Run 2017, on 10 September 2017
We are aiming to raise £200,000 to fund new equipment, provide additional training & refurbish environments to help provide a better experience for patients living with dementia

Story

No one likes being in hospital but for people living with dementia it can be particularly disorientating and confusing.  We have chosen to support them during their stay in our hospitals by raising money for the York Teaching Hospital charity's Dementia Appeal. Every donation received will help us ensure dementia friendly care is provided in our hospitals and will go towards purchasing equipment, specialist training for nurses and improving the environments for patients with dementia. Please please give generously and thank you so much for your support xxx
