On September 10th, I was be participating in The Great North Run, to raise awareness and funds for Anthony Nolan. Each hour, someone is diagnosed with blood cancer, or a related disease, and at least 2,000 people in the UK alone, are in desperate need of a stem cell or bone marrow transplant every year. Anthony Nolan makes this possible. I am particularly attached to this organisation as I have been lucky enough to witness the medical miracles Anthony Nolan can make come true through the continued support of their donors.
