Like many churches, St Peter and St Paul's Great Bowden is continually stuggling to meet the operating costs of a mediaeval building. So, as part of its fundraising programme it is having a Sponsored Hymnathon on October 29th 2011 in the church, from 0800 to 1800 hrs.

A group  of musicians and singers will, in relays, aim to perform 500 hymns (first and last verses only).
