HERE WE GO AGAIN! I will be running the Great Wall Marathon this year on Saturday 18th May. Last year was a great success (Thanks to running buddies Emily, Elissa, Martina and Luke), and my donation target was completely smashed (Thanks to all family and friends). This year I want to continue raising money for a worthy cause, I hope you can help too.

Every year over 30,000 people are diagnosed with blood cancers including leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma. Sadly I lost my Uncle John last year after he was diagnosed with leukaemia.

My Uncle was an inspiration to anyone who met him and I know he would be overjoyed to know that we would be raising money for a worthy cause in his honour! 

Since the Great Wall consists of 5164 steps we planned to raise £516.40, that's 10p a step! Since it is my second year I would like to double the target to £1,032.80. The Great Wall marathon is one of the toughest marathons in the world and it will make it so much easier knowing that every step we take will  be raising money to extend the lives of many.

We want to help ensure that other people do not have to expereince the great loss that many others around the world experience. Research in Leukaemia is growing all the time as new drugs are developed. With your help WE can help pro long the life of thousands of people every year and bring happiness to their families.
