Prostate cancer affects 1 in 8 men in the UK. That's thousands of dads, grandads, partners, brothers, uncles, sons and mates. But it doesn't have to be this way. The money you raise will help fund lifesaving research into better tests and treatments

Story

Terry: I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in June 2022. I know the emotions experienced when given such potentially life changing news.

For me, I want to bring this horrible illness to greater levels of awareness, so that we can IDENTIFY and INFORM MEN who face the greatest risk to developing this illness.

I'm taking part in the Great North Run on 10th September along with Fiona, Graeme, Louise and Peter to raise as much money as possible to ensure all men have access to clinical checks and, if required, speedy access to treatment. All money donated will help to fund lifesaving research and support for men and their families affected by prostate cancer.

Prostate cancer kills 1 in 8 men. That's one dad, partner, brother, son, grandad, uncle or mate. All donations are much appreciated, thank you!
