We deliver sport & physical activity groups to aid recovery from mental health problems

Story

This challenge will involve an accumulated 500,000 step challenge as each member of FSP staff sets off on a 3km route along the towpath to and from our office, along a route that will take us along the Kennet & Avon Canal. The aim is we will always have a member (or several members) of staff on the route throughout the working day, whether that be walking, or for the keen runners among us, running the route, either once, twice, or more all in aid of charity!! As a local mental health charity that uses sport and physical activity to improve the lives of people experiencing mental health problems it seemed appropriate, as we encourage our staff to take time away from their desks, to switch off and go outside whether that be on their own or with colleagues and partake in exercise either by walking or running the set 3km route to and from our office for us to fundraise for Sport in Mind.
